St. Ann church in Agadir is the only catholic church of the city. It was built in 1930, when the city was under the French protectorate. St Ann is the patron saint of carpenters.

It welcomes many Christians in Agadir especially Europeans and students from sub-Saharan Africa.

The church, like many other Catholic churches, was officially recognized in 1983, in a letter that King Hassan II sent to Pope John Paul II. This letter granted permission to Christians to practice their religion in peace, and all activities related such as religious education.
